A Raleigh Wedding Video

One thing that really impressed us was all the musical talent that their friends and family had. One of the bridesmaids and Sam’s best man, sang a duet of Jason Mraz. I almost felt like I was shooting a glee episode for a moment. That act was followed up by a beautiful piano piece presented by Shan’s cousin.

It was a beautiful sunny day to match their personalities. Shan and Sam have been cleverly tagged as Sham since their names fit together just as perfectly as their lives. Thanks so much to Shan and Sam, as well as our friend Craig at Luster Studios. It’s always a pleasure working with such great people. Enjoy!

This was so beautifully done. Love Sam’s fleeting expression at 1:22 and the moment you caught at the very end of the video. Definitely something I’ll look back on fondly in the future… and it wasn’t even my wedding! Major props.

Chelsy is an interior designer and has a passion for crafting beautiful scenes. She spent numerous hours planning all of the intricate details of their wedding day. She incorporated tons of fabric to give their wedding the ultimate look. It also didn’t hurt that their venue, the Millennium Center in Winston-Salem, provided the perfect location and helpful staff to assist in pulling off this unique and incredible wedding.

Mike loves sports and in particular Tennessee. Chelsy’s dad, Barry, loves sports too, in particular Wake Forest. Mike now loves Wake Forest and Barry now loves Tennessee. We attended the rehearsal dinner at Wake Forest Deacon tower and had an epic view of the stadium, as well as some awesome food! Their friends and family had some very touching words to say at the rehearsal and we were delighted to be able to catch those special moments.

The day featured some amazing singing by Mike’s sister Abby, a rocking band, and a DJ who kept us dancing all night long. Mike and Chelsy were so excited to get to their honeymoon that they literally ran away to their hotel at the end of the night. Special thanks to Justin Nixon Photography for all of your help throughout the day and it’s always a pleasure to watch you break out your moves on the dance floor.

Thank you Chelsy and Mike for allowing us to be a part of this special day in your lives.

I am at a loss for words in this incredible film. Mike and I feel truly blessed to have found someone as talented as you, to play such an important roll in the biggest day of our lives. Your attention to detail and willingness to be everywhere at once made working with you a true joy!! You guys were so much fun to be around and seemed to be in all the right places at the right times. To have our memories captured in such a magical way so that we may keep them forever and always was truly a gift. And for that we will FOREVER be greatful.

You are truly one in a million and we could never thank you enough for all that you have done and all that you have given us.

All our love and appreciation,
Chelsy and Mike

I have known Megan and Mike for many years and even knew them both before they started dating. It has been a blessing to watch their relationship grow over the past years. It was even greater a blessing to be a part of their special day and capturing their most precious wedding moments.

Their wedding was held at the beautiful Childress Vineyards and luckily the rain held out for their ceremony. The day played out like a great bottle of wine, classic and sweet.

Congratulations to Megan and Mike! It is so great to see you two finally tie the knot.

Abigail + Nam

Abigail and Nam wanted to honor both of their cultures, so they ended up having two awesome weddings in two days. The first wedding was to celebrate Nam’s Vietnamese traditions and was beautiful with the vibrant decorations and robes. The food was absolutely delicious and the friends and family shared a lot of love and laughter.

The second ceremony celebrated Abigail’s Filipino culture and was hosted at the Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh, NC. It was quite an amazing and memorable night, not only for Abigail and Nam, but for all of their guests! Abigail and Nam first became close during a hurricane and as fate would have it they ended up getting married during a tornado. They have such upbeat and playful attitudes, which allows them to bring extreme happiness to each other and those around them as is obvious in their wedding video.

The entire ceremony progressed on as planned even though much of downtown had been shaken by a tornado just a few hours earlier. The museum was completely without power, but that didn’t stop us from having a good time and tying the knot. The best part of all was when one of their guest mentioned they had a rooftop apartment with power. So the entire party carted over to the apartment to continue the wedding on the rooftop overlooking downtown Raleigh. What a beautiful and memorable way to celebrate a new found love between two awesome people. Congrats Abigail and Nam!

Wow! this video is simply amazing. Vibrant color, excellent depth, and best of all a portrait of the two wedding in one without clashing. Excellent Job.

Brides On Tour 2011

Here it is folks! One of the hottest bridal shows in Greensboro. Brides on Tour featured four amazing wedding venues around the triad, numerous vendors from all over North Carolina, and one awesome day for wedding planning. The luxury coaches carted brides to Magnolia Manor, Deep River Event Center, Canterbury School, and The Empire Room. The food was great, the music jammed all day, and brides left feeling educated without being overwhelmed.

If you missed out, we are sorry, but the good news is this certainly is not the last from Brides on Tour. Keep an eye out on their website for info on the next tour. We had a blast participating in the tour and capturing this video. As a wedding videographer we enjoy participating in all things wedding related and it was certainly great to see brides at complete ease in planning their big day. I even made a cameo at one point in the video. See if you can spot me!
