Old North State Country Club Wedding

Sydney and Jordan had an amazing Old North State Country Club wedding this past October. It was a gorgeous, sunny, and windy day for a Badin Lake wedding. Our Triad wedding video team was able to capture all the sights, sounds and special moments throughout Sydney and Jordan’s wedding day.

To begin, Sydney got ready with all her bridesmaids and family at one of the properties on Badin Lake. We knew their Old North State wedding was going to turn out amazing when we saw all the details Sydney and Jordan had already put into their day. Capturing the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, the colorful robes and just incredible wedding gown were some of the highlights of Sydney’s bridal prep. Jordan opted to do his finishing touches outside with his closest groomsmen. You just can’t beat that natural sunlight in their Badin Lake wedding video.

In what seemed to be a flash it was time for the ceremony. Sydney and Jordan hired a local band to play as guests made their way to their seats for the ceremony, which made our lake-side set up even more enjoyable. More than anything we could tell that Jordan was ready to see his bride. The quiet-emotion in Jordan’s eyes as he sees Sydney for the first time is really impactful.

Their Old North State wedding really was one for the books as we ventured into their photo/video session by the lake. What an amazing backdrop for these newlyweds! Their Badin Lake wedding had an open-air concept for the reception. Everything was held on the veranda and all their guests danced well into the night, by the lake. It was one of those occasions where the feeling stays with you long after the event is gone. We hope that this Badin Lake wedding gives you the same feeling, as if you were there for yourself. So please, sit back, relax and let yourself go to this incredible, relaxing place with us. Their Old North State wedding video is nothing short of genuine.

Congratulations to the happy couple, Sydney and Jordan!

Lauren + Dan

Charlotte Wedding Video

Lauren and Dan were married on a beautiful sunny day at the stunning Champagne Manor. Their Charlotte wedding video just might be my newest favorite (yes I know I say that every time!). With all the details that Lauren and Dan put into their wedding, such as the amazing floral work, stunning bridal gown and even having Dan’s father officiate the ceremony, these things amounted to something incredible on their video. However it’s the moments you can’t buy or plan for that make each Charlotte wedding video unique. The fact that Dan’s father was so intentional with his words that you can feel it in his voice, or the amazing heartfelt toast given by Lauren’s sister. It’s these moments that I love to capture and tell in each video that I create, and it’s all the amazing details that help the story come to life.

My goal with each wedding is to give the viewer the feeling of being at a wedding, not just the content. This Champagne Manor wedding video really did have it all, feeling and style, and those are always my favorite. Lauren’s dress was so stunning that I wanted to shoot it in a few different locations but ended up using the bridal room. What an incredible bridal room it was! Dan had his pick as to where to get dressed at the Champagne Manor House as well. He ultimately decided on a separate groom’s suite to get dressed which had ample room for us all along with some killer mirrors and dramatic contrast.

The entire day went by in an absolute whirlwind after Lauren and Dan got ready, and this is why I incorporated this element in their Charlotte wedding video. Everything at the venue was incredible and I am itching to go back to capture it in a new and exciting way. This Champagne Manor wedding video is just a taste of an amazing Charlotte venue and even more amazing couple.

Congratulations are in order to Mr. + Mrs. Haight. Well done you two.

Connie + Will

Biltmore Wedding Video

Connie and Will were wed on a brilliant summer day at Biltmore Estate and Gardens. Everything about their wedding was intimate and meaningful. With under 50 guests, their Asheville wedding video was one of our most intimate ones this year.

Connie and Will’s Biltmore wedding video started out slowly with bridal and groom prep. Connie prepped in one of the Biltmore’s gorgeous suites, while Will opted to get ready at a neighboring hotel on the Biltmore grounds. Connie kept her cool from the moment she got ready until the very end. She was 100% ready to unite with the love of her life. Will was nothing less than excited and ready to say “I do” to his bride. Their entire day was a treasure for our Asheville wedding video team to capture.

With a dramatic First Look, Connie and Will were not only able to take in the moment, but were also able to get in an amazing photo and video session. Our Asheville wedding video team was able to capture Connie and Will at virtually every incredible location on the Biltmore grounds.

After an emotional ceremony, Connie and Will were ready to dance the night away with the friends and family that meant the most to them. Their Biltmore wedding video included some amazing, heartfelt toasts and best dancing we’ve seen this year! Connie and Will also put a lot of effort into making sure every detail of their Asheville wedding was perfect for their reception. Since they had an intimate wedding size, all of the guests were able to dine at one long, gorgeously decorated table with the bride and groom. Every detail was absolutely perfect and unique to Connie and Will.

We could go on and on about their amazing day, but instead we will let you see for yourself all the things that made Connie and Will’s day uniquely theirs.

Congratulations to the happy couple, Connie and Will!

Mary Margaret + Johnson

Winston Salem Wedding Video

This was our second wedding with the wonderful Waterer family and the joining of this couple could not have been sweeter. Mary Margaret and Johnson are such amazing folks. Their hearts are full of love for each other and all around them. You could really see throughout the day their care and attention to all those who surrounded them on this blessed day.

This Winston Salem Wedding also had the added benefit of bringing us along to their rehearsal dinner to capture all the sweet words friends and family shared. This is always an amazing addition to any wedding video as you often have some very heartfelt and intimate moments shared during the rehearsal dinner.

Our favorite part of this wedding video is the amazing first look that Mary Margaret and her father shared. The emotions flowed freely and this was such a special moment for the Winston Salem wedding day.

Merideth + Edwin

NC Mountain Wedding Video

**For best viewing experience, press play and then pause immediately and allow the video to load fully.**

Guatemalan coffee, culture, and latin american dancing combined with world class, orchestral music and gentle-hearted folks equals an incredible weekend in the NC Mountains for this wedding! The loved ones surrounding Edwin and Merideth on their wedding day inspired and warmed our hearts. The cool breeze of the crisp NC mountain air was a welcome refreshment as we strolled the historic grounds of Montreat.

This was no ordinary wedding. Two cultures came together to share love, laughter, and tears. Merideth’s passion for music manifest itself throughout the entire wedding day. First an incredible prelude featuring the incredible Nicholas Daniel, who flew all the way from the UK to take part in Merideth’s wedding day. Following the ceremony, the energetic and celebratory songs of Voices of Deliverance shouted out through the mountain tops to boast of the joining of this new couple. Then the reception was kicked off with a latin jazz band who got the entire crowd dancing to the rhythm of their latin dance beats.

Our favorite part of this amazing day was most definitely the location. We feel on top of the world at mountain weddings and the surrounding scenery is beauty for our rolling cameras to endlessly capture. We were gifted with a spectacular weekend of weather allowing for some of the most incredible location shots.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the sweet sounds of the beauty that is Merideth and Edwin’s wedding day.
